Boston public high school students from under-resourced backgrounds connected to one of BIDMC's referral partners who want a paid hospital department placement.
Eligibility
Under-resourced Boston public high school students; admission is by referral only through partner organizations (ABCD, Boys & Girls Club of Boston, METCO, Boston PIC, and others).
What you get
- Paid 6-week placement in an assigned hospital department

- Exposure to a range of healthcare colleagues and roles
What the application involves
- Boston public high school enrollment
- Referral from a partner organization (ABCD, Boys & Girls Club of Boston, Roxbury Tenants at Harvard, Sociedad Latina, METCO, or Boston PIC)
Application tips

- Be ready for a 32-hour/week (Mon–Thu) full-time summer commitment.
