Bridge to Calculus Summer Program

Boston Public Schools rising juniors/seniors who want to strengthen advanced math and STEM readiness for healthcare/science pathways while earning money over the summer.

Rising juniors and seniors at Boston Public Schools; founded to expand access to advanced math for students from underserved communities.

• Precalculus and AP Calculus preparation
• One STEM enrichment elective (biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, or AI)
• Friday math lectures (financial literacy, linear algebra)
• Pay to attend via Boston's Learn and Earn program

• Rising junior or senior at a Boston Public School
• Application through the College of Science / Bridge to Science

• Choose a STEM enrichment elective (e.g., biology or chemistry) that aligns with a health-career interest.
• Note the early 7:30 a.m. start — plan a summer schedule that accommodates it.

Founded in 1994 by Prof. Robert Case. A math-and-STEM foundation rather than a clinical program, but a strong free, paid pipeline for college-readiness in science.
