Scholarships for students who complete a significant piece of work in STEM (including medical and science research), literature, or music — open to younger students, not just seniors.
Who should apply
Students 18 or younger who have completed a significant, original piece of work in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature, music, philosophy, or 'Outside the Box.'
Eligibility
- 18 years old or younger as of the application deadline
- U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident residing in the U.S. (or stationed overseas on active U.S. military duty)
- Completed a significant piece of work in an eligible category
- The work must be the applicant's own creation
- Two-person teams are eligible
- Must attend an in-person or virtual awards ceremony with at least one parent/guardian
What you get
- Scholarships of $100,000, $50,000, or $25,000
- Recognition as a Davidson Fellow
What the application involves
- Submission of a significant project/portfolio with the category-specific required elements
- Two nominator forms
- All required category-specific attachments
- A signed statement of commitment regarding ceremony attendance
